On June 14^th the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei delivered a speech at the presence of the three government branch chiefs and a group of senior regime officials. The most important portion of his remarks that gained widespread coverage in Iranian media and the press included, “If the next U.S. president tears apart the nuclear deal, Iran will set it ablaze.”

Following the implementation of the nuclear pact between Iran and the United States and European countries, the question is will the Middle East tread towards more stability or further instability?

U.S. President Barack Obama and his nuclear team is currently propagating new and unprecedented measures implemented by the International Atomic Energy Agency to be assured of the Iranian regime not violating the agreements made and becoming certain Iran’s nuclear program will not seek military objectives. They also portray an image as if such monitoring measures have never been adopted to this day.

Following the effects of the nuclear agreement on the domestic feuds between the regime’s factions, certain figures who had remained in the gray between Khamenei’s faction and that of Rafsanjani-Rouhani have been forced to take sides. These individuals used to resort to so-called centrist positions and the most significant of such figures is parliament speaker Ali Larijani.

Impact of nuclear deal on Quds Force-backed militias in Iraq

Following the final touches of the nuclear accord between the West and Iran, very immediate impacts can be seen on the Quds Force apparatus, being Iran’s main force of exporting terrorism. One such scene is the groups associated to the Quds Force in Iraq. I have received a considerable amount of information about the status of these militia groups in Iraq on which I will shed light below:

How can we analyze the general policies pursued by the regime ruling Iran vis-à-vis its neighboring countries, especially Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Lebanon following the July 14^th nuclear agreement signed in Vienna? Will Iran’s meddling in these countries decrease, as hoped for by US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry? Or will Tehran get a hold of an influx of billions of dollars, and consider the deal a green light to actually increase its interferences?

Hollow claims of change in Iran’s behavior

Iran’s promises for change in behavior following the nuclear deal have remained nothing but words despite much enthusiasm shown by the West to assure (Persian) Gulf countries over the July 14^th accord.

Will the nuclear deal actually destroy Iran’s nuclear bomb apparatus?

The nuclear agreement recently signed between the P5+1 and Iran is a hot topic these days in US media, and also inside the Iranian regime’s owns factions.

This agreement has also cast its shadow over the US presidential elections. The debate in Washington is very intense and both campaigns are spending huge amounts of money to influence US lawmakers.

There are those who believe this agreement only sets back Iran’s ability to obtain nuclear weapons for a decade or two, and the articles of this agreement cannot neutralize Tehran in getting hold of nuclear weapons one day. They argue that the main goal was to annihilate Iran’s ability to obtain nuclear weapons altogether, and this has not been met.

Iran after the nuclear accord – Increasing or decreasing meddling in the Middle East

The main characteristic of the Iranian regime, differencing it from other dictatorial regimes, is its meddling in other countries dubbed by its senior officials as “exporting the revolution”, killings and massacre in other countries. When Khomeini was forced to give in to the 1988 ceasefire in the Iran-Iraq War, his regime began focusing on meddling in countries across the Middle East. This meant they had suffered a major defeat in the war with Iraq and sought to compensate their losses through such interferences.

Mrs. Mogherini! Don’t take advantage of Iranians’ suffering!

I was shocked to hear about a trip to Iran by EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini! Yes, Mrs. Mogherini went to meet Iran’s rulers who humiliate their own people and plunge them into poverty, and she sat at one table with these bloodthirsty criminals whose hands are drenched with the blood of people in Iran and the entire Middle East.

IRGC or an economic – terrorist cartel?

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp is the biggest benefiter of Iran’s economic sanctions and if the nuclear agreement is approved, it’s the IRGC that will be the major winner.

The IRGC was formed at the outset of Khomeini’s grasp of power with the main goal of protecting the establishment. During the Iran-Iraq War it turned into a classic military force. This was to a point where it’s man power, weapons, equipment and quadripartite forces were not only equal to the Iranian Army but surpassed it sophistically. After the Iran-Iraq War there was no reason to maintain this massive force and it either had to be dissolved or given a new assignment. 

Obama’s deal with the Godfather of terrorism

The Iranian regime is the main state sponsor of terrorism in the world, the main backer of the Assad regime and other rogue regimes and groups in the Middle East and Africa, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Iraq’s Shiite militia groups, the Houthis and Al-Shabab. Therefore it is necessary that this regime be restricted in order to prevent its terrorist operations across the globe.

The Vienna deal will never prevent the Iranian regime from acquiring a nuclear bomb

On July 14^th, a deal was announced between the P5+1 countries with Iran over its nuclear program. The Iranian regime called the deal a great victory and announced that it will celebrate. I still haven’t read the details of the deal but I can guess from the reactions.
