Iran’s Quds Force meddling in Bahrain

June 2016
Bahrain is a country of the Persian Gulf and Iran continues to argue it was once amongst its territories, and therefore claims sovereignty over this important island. Back in August 2008, Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Keyhan – the known mouthpiece of Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei – wrote an article declaring Bahrain an Iranian province. This raised major tension between in the bilateral relations between the two countries, and finally Manouchehr Mottaki, then foreign minister of Iran, was forced to visit Bahrain and resolve the matter.

Flagrant meddling of Iran’s Quds Force in Bahrain

December 2015
Iran has been seeking a foothold amongst Persian Gulf countries in order to export its fundamentalism and terrorism. To this end Tehran has always considered Bahrain as the most adequate state considering its Shiite population.

Why has Iran during the past four years been seeking war, exporting terrorism and meddling in other country’s internal affairs?

From day one, this regime has launched a non-stop campaign of warmongering, exporting terrorism and meddling in the internal affairs of other countries. Slogans of promoting Islam and … are mottos the ayatollahs have been deviously thumping their chests with for years now. Despite the atrocious economic conditions the Iranian people are living in, this regime has plundered and literally wasted billions outside of its borders, being in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and beyond. An increasing number of senior commanders, including Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) officers being killed in other countries, prove very well Tehran’s meddling abroad. Of course, it has to be taken into consideration that these are cases that the regime is willing to admit to, and there has to be much more we never learn about.

Gulf Countries in All-Out Confrontation Against Iran

Why are the Gulf Cooperation Countries in a flagrant confrontation against Iran?
The answer to this question can be easily found in the events seen in Arab countries and GCC members states. Currently the leaders of these nations view Iran as a destabilizing country that goes the limits to create a crisis in the stable areas of the region.

Who was behind the Bahrain bombings?

Septambr 2015
On Saturday, August 29th in the news I read a report about a bombing in Bahrain in which a police officer was killed and 7 others were left injured. All of a sudden my mind became focused on this country’s northern neighbor, Iran. The report went on to explain that one of the individuals arrested in relation to the Bahrain bombing had received his training in coordination with various al-Dawa Party leaders in the city of Karbala in southern Iraq, and the boat for the attack was provided by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

Hollow claims of change in Iran’s behavior

Iran’s promises for change in behavior following the nuclear deal have remained nothing but words despite much enthusiasm shown by the West to assure (Persian) Gulf countries over the July 14th accord.

Iran’s meddling in Bahrain

Iran’s latest remarks regarding Bahrain are not the first of such rhetoric. In fact, they are all repeats of remarks made many times by Iranian officials and they are currently carrying out their aggressions through such remarks. The question is that in such conditions after Iran has signed a nuclear agreement with the P5+1 and would logically have to refrain from such obvious meddling in Persian Gulf countries, why is Tehran actually doing all this? The answer to this question at a first glance may seem easy, that these provocative and irresponsible remarks by Iran are aimed at relieving itself of internal pressures. In my opinion this is a good start but one should not stop here and think it is as simple as that. We must also hunt for the reason behind these measures in their prospective, that Iran is seeking to conquer various other states through its “Export of Revolution” policy. These countries include Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Palestine.

What are Iran’s objectives in the Middle East?

In the news the other day remarks made by Bahrain Interior Minister Sheikh Rashed al-Khalife caught my attention. Al-Khalife emphasized his country denounces any and all meddling by Iran on his turf. He accused Tehran of aggressive positions, unbounded propaganda attacks, smuggling of explosives-arms-ammo to Bahrain and launching camps in Iran to train terrorists.
